Choosing the right producer for your first film isn’t just about experience—it’s about trust, alignment, and how you build something together.
For something this personal—our directorial debut, mine and Ice’s—I knew we needed someone who wouldn’t just execute the vision, but truly grow it with us. Because filmmaking is a long journey. And the right producer is someone who stays through all of it—the clarity, the chaos, and everything in between.
Krisma, what you bring to this project is something I deeply respect—real, grounded production experience. You’ve built films from the inside out, worked with some of the best directors in the country, and understand what it actually takes to get a film made.
At the same time, what excites me most is how open you are—to expanding into the global space, to exploring international co-production more deeply, and to building something beyond what we already know. And that openness matters.
What I’ve seen in the past few days—how you think, how you adapt, how you show up—has only made me more certain.

‘FUNERAL FLOWERS’ FEATURED ON VARIETY!
A Fire & Ice Media original is in the spotlight, writer and director Liza Diño-Seguerra said in an interview, “this story comes from something deeply personal. I grew up around politics in the Philippines and witnessed how powerful men are mourned when they die.”
The project marks Liza Diño and Ice Seguerra’s directorial feature film debut, actively participating at the Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) as part of the Work-in-progress projects.
