It’s been almost a month since our wedding ❤️
We got married during the last weekend of October in the hills of Orange County at a venue secluded by tropical plants and green shrubbery throughout. It was a crisp autumn day. We walked down the aisle to some of our favorite songs- Sam Cooke, Lumineers, Daniel Caesar. One of our best friends, Jason Douangsanith, was our officiant and recalled some of our fondest memories since high school. Johnny and I cried, laughed and danced all day long. Such a precious and perfect day. ✨

I got engaged to the most caring and thoughtful person I’ve had the honor of sharing my life with these past 12 years. Johnny, since we were kids, you have always felt like home. I love growing with you, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
So thankful to our family and friends for the amazing surprise ❤️

London 🇬🇧
A brilliant city. We saw Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare’s Globe, went to the best cocktail bar ever @scarfesbar , and searched far and wide for a little bear named Paddington.

Copenhagen ✨
We loved Denmark! One of my favorite moments of the trip was taking a boat ride through all the canals, including the famous Nyhavn. Our guide told us that the homes were painted different colors so that drunken sailors could find their way home after a night of drinking. 🍻

Europe! (continued)
Rome • Dublin • Amsterdam • Berlin
My friends and I flew straight to Europe immediately after graduation. From the pints of Guinness in Dublin to seeing the Trevi fountain at midnight.. this trip was filled with so many wholesome memories that we will carry with us.
Equal parts of sad and happy, as we go our separate ways across the country for residency. 🥲
My film photos from Europe!

The last time I took a film camera on a trip was 14 years ago with my high school choir to New York city. Back then, I believe 75% of my photos were out of focus or blurry. I was nervous this time around on how my photos would turn out, but with the encouragement of my favorite photography professor @jonathanyacoub , I was pretty happy with how they turned out!
Thank you to @dnguyenphotography for lending me your camera!

Last week, I graduated medical school. It’s been a long but fulfilling ride, and was such an honor being hooded by my husband and my dad. Thankful for my family, friends and mentors who have been with me through this whole journey! (Last photo was from the first day of my Masters program 6 years ago, with two very important people in my life. ❤️)
