Sometimes it’s hard to see where I’m at on my timeline because I lack the mirrors. Being a neurodivergent ambivert with ADHD (I hate labels), my capacity to create—and to relish in alone time—can be both a blessing and a curse, often judged for being outside the box (I’m ok with that). Because if there are no coincidences, and I’m always where I’m supposed to be—if everything is happening FOR me—then maybe that’s the point: some experiences don’t work out because they’re not meant to be anything more than a reflection of my seniority over my own past—of how far I’ve come and what this version of me has to offer. I’ve repeatedly learned through experience that what looks like chaos in the physical is often an energetic upgrade taking place—an old reality breaking down to shift me into a space more resonant with who I am in present time. When I let go, flow, and co-create with Source—trusting that what’s best for me is unfolding, even through the weight of my choices—while honoring my boundaries, I can’t lose. There is no light without the dark. No dark without the light. Every system and organization capable of real impact has a shadow side. So does every human. Just like the psyche, when you deny the shadow, it doesn’t disappear — it finds a doorway. And it walks right in. No person, place, institution, spiritual space, or corporation is exempt. We’re taught to fear the parts of ourselves that don’t fit into society’s good-vs-bad boxes. But my shadow isn’t the villain — it’s a powerful motherfucker that has my back. It sees what my light doesn’t want to see. It keeps my truth louder than any lie trying to come at me sideways. Mastering the dichotomy of my shadow and my light — and letting others stay asleep to theirs while I watch the consequences without judgment — that’s a superpower in “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink”. And when I look at and love every part of me, even the parts that rage, I can see the full 360 in people and situations. I can appreciate it — even when it’s uncomfortable — and still choose what’s true for myself. The game we’re playin’ isn’t about being “good.” It’s about being honest.
