APA Open Nationals was a blast. Thanks to some amazing volunteers we were able to bust out the follow camera for most sessions. Love being able to see the pre-lift routines!

With bigger comps and opportunities outside of powerlifting starting to emerge it was time to unleash @bhvisuals_ to sort out our branding.
Bryan cooked on this one. The circle representing a calibrated plate, incorporates the letter S from our name and the play button representing YouTube, the platform where we host most of our customers streams.
We will have the stickers ready for Mega Nats!
Australian powerlifting is maturing fast! Avg GLs have increased approx. 12 points over the past 3 nationals. Note max and quartiles have also shifted upwards considerably.
Kris has single handedly run the live-streaming game here in Australia.

For 18 months Jacob and I have been bouncing around ideas for this meet, and in the 3 months since coming back from World's we somehow managed to pull it all together. I think it went pretty well, obviously we will do a full retrospective and there is a tonne of things I wasn't happy with, like my stream deck dying just as the stream started, which stopped me using alot ot the custom graphics I had designed, but all good, I always plan contingencies.

Getting the chance to watch @kellyzoo092 on the platform was incredible, and then topping it off travelling Europe with some good friends was 🤌
A massive highlight was getting to share the commentary booth with @6packlapadat , Jo Whiteley and @eric_rupp and the media team. Still pinching myself that I was given that opportunity.
I came back super motivated to make Powermania and Night of Champs the craziest production that a local comp can be. We already have over 100 hours into making digital assets for youtube, instagram and the livestream. The greenscreen has been out and we have created some incredible assets for the live stream overlay and the LED panel at the venue.
In addition to our normal 4 camera set up we've added a wireless steady cam and we are set up for a roving commentator to hit the back room and the crowd.
