If you’re reading this, you’ve probably supported Rhedeont Photography in some capacity since 2011. Whether you followed on social, liked some images from days/weeks/years ago, booked Rhedeont for a session, told your friend … and your friend told their friends about Rhedeont - we’re deeply, sincerely thankful for your support.
You *may* know the story of how Rhedeont (pronounced “Ray-de-ont” btw) Photography started. At the time, Darryl D. Smith and I were two 20-somethings who wanted to bring our love of photography to the world. This venture culminated into a multi-year chapter of documenting thousands millions of images. From portrait sessions and products to events, weddings, products - you name it. We did it. We lived up to an old slogan of ours: “we catch everything except the bouquet!”
While it is an honor to spread joy through photography, an overhaul of the inner workings and the branding of the business was long overdue. For as much as I have learned and attained under Rhedeont Photography, it’s time for something new.
Over the course of several months, I did some tinkering on a brand revamp that I’m eager to share with you all. This chapter in my life is no longer a kinda-sorta-maybe professional photographer trying to make it. Rather, I’ve now positioned myself as a seasoned multidisciplinary creative in a way that is more authentic to myself.
This is a new chapter that I cannot wait to see fully blossom. I’ll let you know more about it soon. But for now? I hope that you enjoy the ride. <3
