Introducing ACCUMULATIONS exhibiting artist KRISTINA RICCI
@krfiberart
Formerly a creative director at a multimedia agency, KRISTINA RICCI
@krfiberart returned to hands-on creativity in 2020 through the tactile world of fiber artâfinding calm, connection, and creative spark during uncertain times. Since then, sheâs been on a mission to reimagine the everyday, transforming materials like Ethernet cables, bathing suit straps, and plastic netting into woven works full of texture, personality, and surprise. Kristinaâs vibrant large-scale fiber pieces have popped up on chairs, benches, fences and signposts throughout Philadelphia, inviting passersby to see the cityâand its materialsâthrough a new lens. With a love for knotting, weaving, and improvisation, Ricciâs work explores the links between people, place, and material memory. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions across the Philadelphia region and debuted her first solo exhibition in the summer of 2025.
