OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “Phangan, I love you, but...” at 📍MESTO
Thursday, March 12, 4:00 p.m.
We have collected works by artists that reflect their honest attitudes toward the island: what inspires, angers, captivates, delights, and provokes thought here.
At 4:00 p.m., we will start with a daytime DJ set in the garden, a welcome speech from the organizers, and an introduction to the works.
You will be able to chat with the authors and discuss what exactly is behind their “but”
đź–Ľ Format: exhibition and sale
so you can buy the works and take a piece of Phangan art home with you.
🎤 At 7 p.m., gather at the Open Stage.
We invite you to perform on our open stage dedicated to the theme “Phangan, I love you, but...”

@nashemesto.kpg and @onohaism , co-creator of @izziroom in St. Petersburg, are organizing an exhibition about honest attitudes toward the island of Phangan 🌴
Phangan is love. But not without a “but”
What do you love here? What triggers you, touches you, impresses you?
Participation format:
- At least 1 work from each participant on the theme: “PHANGAN I LOVE YOU, BUT”
- Polaroid-style (white frame)
- Size: 20Ă—20 or 20Ă—30 cm
- Any technique and medium
- Works ready for hanging
“BUT” is not hate 🚫
It is irony, doubt, irritation, reality
Opening on March 12. An evening of art, confessions, and music.
To participate, fill out the form (link in bio) or send a private message to @krasevaa
P.S. It would be great if the authors could create two works each, fully revealing each side of their ambivalent attitude towards the island.
We are deliberately making the works compact so that everyone can finish them on time and so that they are easy to buy and take home as souvenirs.
The exhibition and sale is dedicated to the idea of accessible art.
❗️We are also organizing joint painting sessions for the selected participants. The first meeting will take place on the evening of March 5
