A beautiful lineup of mainly seafood dishes at
@krabobeach from
@panagiotisgiakalis and
@petrosfotinis , full of depth, clarity, and bold simplicity. There’s a quiet confidence in food like this. You can feel the hand of a chef who’s earned a Michelin star, but doesn’t need to remind you of it. This powerful duo cook with absolute focus.
The wines? Each one with its own story and none of them trying too hard.
Larmandier-Bernier “Les Chemins d’Avize” 2014
Sharp, dry, with that pure, chalky thing that stays with you. It just is what it is and that’s kind of the beauty. One of those Champagnes where the second glass lands in your hand without anyone asking.

Garrus Rosé 2018 - Château d’Esclans
Yes, it’s that rosé. The one people open when they want you to know they “don’t usually drink rosé” but will make an exception for this. Pale, poised, full of quiet drama. It walks into the room with a fan and its own lighting. Structured like a red, but with none of the baggage. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

L’Hermitage Blanc 2021 – Jean-Louis Chave
Well, it’s Chave. What more do you want, a parade? Baby Chave, sure, but already thinking in full sentences. The texture builds like liquid architecture, measured and deliberate. The weight settles in without making a scene, and the finish carries itself like it’s seen the future and decided to stay a little longer.
Legacy in preview mode.
