For those who have ever wondered where my aspiration to become a shop owner came from, it started when I was five with my grandfather, Bernie.
We would gather wood out back of his house and make a little store for me to showcase my custom paper airplanes.
After testing each one, Bernie would buy some of my inventory and then take me to the dollar store up the street to let me spend my earnings.
Following 96 years of a wonderful life, he passed away yesterday and will be absolutely missed.
Service is on Monday March 30th at 9:30am at Platt Memorial in Cherry Hill NJ.
