🫯 Bangtan Style 2.0 I loved the way @rjournal.s made her BTS journal spread and saw that she had printables so I had to make my own spin on it. I was only able to print the photos in B&W and just add spots of color. It gives a film noir feel and I’m ok with that. ☺️ It’s safe to say that this song is the new Bangtan style. I wasn’t a fan of the new comeback at all…until this music video came out. It really shows that there is no sign of them stopping. #bts #bangtansonyeondan #bangtanstyle #bangtanbujo #arirang

🫯 THE HUNTRIX MEAL I love KPOP DEMON HUNTERS and this meal was…interesting. It had more in a meal than Saja Boys meal (which I didn’t get to try—it’s only available during breakfast), but that wasn’t really my favorite. The Derpy Berry McFlurry (not pictured) was honestly my favorite from this collab. I think they should make that one permanent. In the digital age of reels, I still prefer capturing photo stills to preserve memories and share the small details that people may miss. 🫯 just wait… 🌅 ⨀⊝⊜ (ARIRANG) by BTS It’s been a hot minute since I created a journal spread. This one especially took me a while, because I initially was not a fan. It was supposed to be a half review of In Praise of Love by Alain Badiou, which the book cover reminded me a lot of their promo art. I still think that book and this album are somehow connected. My thoughts involving this album are not yet done. I wasn’t expecting this album to grow on me as much as it did! There’s just one song I still can’t listen to, otherwise, I get why the album is the way it is. 🫯 hi This planner, despite little to no entries is still going strong, so I thought to show some full pages and some not. Inconsistencies happen! I haven’t done much creative journaling since March, but I want to get back to it soon. There are just times where I’m not in the mood for it and they just pile up. 🫠 I still have so much to catch up on. Life is just lifing and kpop world is thriving. So I go at my own pace in catching up. But the only thing I’m happy about keeping up with is this planner and using the scraps and stickers I have. I keep forgetting to journal sometimes. This is what happens when you have too many hobbies and lose track of time. 😅 I am really trying to get better at it again. ✨ A - Z reading challenge: E ✨ Book: Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett I spent much of January reading savoring ever bit of this book. It’s nice to be able to go at your own pace in whatever book you read and let yourself be immersed into that world. I loved the adventure that Emily got herself into and wandering in the woods for faeries, and reading her journal entries and encounters just inspired me to record more memories! I had no fairy themed stickers so I turned it into another scholarly type journal spread, which, honestly, is what my future journal spreads are turning out to be 😅 This is quite new to me, creating spreads for books I read. I want to continue creating like this, and not just for kpop. ✨ my current favorites!! ✨ Thought I’d share what I have been reaching for the most within the last two months or so! • leuchtturm b6 planner: it’s been fun using different pens each week, and also pre decorating with my stationery stash I’ve kept for over a year. • passport tn: i don’t think i’ll let go of this one, period ☺️ • kindle paperwhite: not only I am working on using my stationery, I’m also reading whatever I have stored in my kindle, and it’s been fun so far! (Emily Wilde will have a separate post!) • pens: I alternate between these pens, but if I have to choose a favorite it’s the kaweco sport and pilot kakuno EF and M fountain pens! I haven’t been able to get refills for my jetstream, so I’ve been using the pilot acroball for the black and the other colors on the multipen! • stickers: I found this agenda sticker book last year and I love using it for date headers! I’m also loving this sticker book from le petit efant now that I’ve consolidated my stickers in here. It’s been very convenient!! *also love this bunny pre-inked stamp it’s so CUTE • weekly post it by randidotplans: it’s small yet it still works for me every week! Post its are also my weakness and this is a perfect use for planning • writech sign brush pens: Can’t remember how long i’ve had these! They last quite a while, too. I love using these for headers and little events in my planner • zebra mildliners: these days I use them for color coding and highlighting! • blue pouch: I was gifted this pouch for Christmas and the first thing I thought to use it for were my journal essentials! One day I will share a post for “what’s in my pouch or bag and journals” 🥰 * Surprisingly, I don’t have a current kpop favorite at the moment. ✨ kpop journaling series: SEVENTEEN ✨ album: HAPPY BURSTDAY💥🎂 2/?? I’ll admit, not my favorite comeback. But I did like how each member was able to shine in their solo tracks! I used the little inky stamp dots I recently bought, and they take ages to dry—I think they’re best used for a specific type of paper, maybe?
