Space Property recently engaged KPA to assist with the structural engineering of a new modular home system they are supplying across Australia. These modules allow for rapid construction with minimal site works whilst delivering a high level of interior finishes, acoustic rating and structural robustness. Recently we attended the ribbon cutting of the first completed module. #ModularConstruction #homes #EngineeredByKPA @spaceproperty_au

Lindrum Redevelopment Update - With the basement retention and piling works completed steel struts are currently being installed to allow the excavation of the lift over run and service zones. KPA was engaged early in the design phase to work closely with Kapitol Group and their trade partners to design & document the basement retention system and foundation piles for this 27 story office development. KPA has also provided the independent certification of the overall structure and temporary works engineering for this exciting project in Melbourne’s iconic Flinders Street. #KapitolGroup #Time&Place #Lindrum #BasementRetention #EngineeredByKPA

KPA have worked closely with CDL constructions to deliver the foundation piles underneath both the overarching structure and pool at the Methodists Ladies College (MLC) in Kew. The foundation piles of zone 2 and 3 form stage 1 of the works, with stage 2 consisting of a 2 level anchored retention system which is likely to be designed later in the year. KPA are excited to be a part of this project and further developing our working relationships with both the retention and foundation contractor CDL, and builder Kapitol Group #engineeredbykpa #structuralengineering #melbourne

Nothing brings a team together like good food! Today, the KPA office enjoyed lunch together with a serving of some of Rocco Deli's famous meatball subs. Moments like these remind us that work isn’t just about tasks and deadlines—it’s about the amazing people we share our journey with.

KPA has recently been awarded the new multipurpose development at 384 Bourke St, Melbourne. This three-level space will be home to a rooftop bar and restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor spaces. This will be possible with the demolition of the existing level one roof, allowing for access to the bustling street life of one of Melbourne’s most popular commercial areas. Working alongside @macdonaldcoau on another exciting project, we look forward to updating you on the progress!

Located adjacent to Sherbrooke Forest, Burnham Beeches is an iconic landmark of the Dandenong Ranges. This significant Art Deco three-storey mansion was designed by architect Harry Norris in 1933 for the Alfred Nicholas family and has been utilised over the years for various purposes including a Childrens Hospital during World War II. KPA are responsible for the design and documentation of over 40 buildings including the refurbishment and retrofitting of the existing heritage mansion which will be established as the first Six Senses hotel in Australia, in addition to a new village square consisting of a restaurant, providore and brewery. Other aspects of the site include a pool house, wellness centre and event space to name only a few. KPA is proud to be involved with this project at a site with such high heritage value. #engineeredbykpa #structuralengineering #melbourne #design

Chomley St, Prahran - 11 luxury two-story townhouses each with their own rooftop terrace, designed by KUD and built by Swell are nearing full completion with the structure and facade complete. KPA undertook the design and documentation of the complete structural package. This included the detailed retention design, suspended ground floor and the lightweight structure. It has been great to work alongside Lucent and Kavellaris Urban Design from the concept stage all the way through to the detailed documentation and construction stage. Now to hand over to Swell Building Group who is transitioning to interiors. We are looking forward to seeing how this project progresses!
