Spring escape to Arcadia, shot on 35mm film 🌿 The mountains of Arcadia, right in the heart of the Peloponnese, are one of my favorite road trip destinations in Greece. Endless winding roads, breathtaking views, traditional villages tucked into the slopes, dense forests, deep gorges, and monasteries carved in rocks. Every trip here feels different. I’ve been back five times in the past year, and somehow it never gets old. There’s always something new to discover. Arcadia feels like a quieter, more untouched side of Greece. Pine-covered mountains, stone-built villages, and a kind of stillness that’s hard to find in more popular destinations. Time slows down here. Even the air feels different. This time, I explored the region driving the fully electric DS N°4, such a perfect match for these roads. Refined, quiet, and effortlessly smooth, with just the right balance of French design and smart tech. If you go, make sure to stay at Manna and don’t miss dinner there (the baked lamb is a standout, but honestly, everything on the menu is excellent). This winter I finally made it to the caves of Champagne Ullens, one of my all-time favorites. Beyond crafting champagne I genuinely adore, they’ve created one of the most beautiful productions I’ve ever seen: thoughtful, precise, and quietly breathtaking. Paris in winter 🤍 Cloudy days, slow mornings, and that quiet kind of beauty. We didn’t chase the sun, we stayed in. A beautiful room, soft light, long coffee breaks, nowhere to rush. I was lucky enough to step into the very heart of Champagne Billecart-Salmon, one of the oldest family-run champagne houses, where time, patience, and precision define every bottle. Quiet rooms, layers of history, and the rare privilege of shooting on film, slowly, thoughtfully, exactly how this place deserves. Billecart-Salmon was founded in 1818 through the union of Nicolas François Billecart and Élisabeth Salmon, a marriage that became a legacy. Beneath the house, historic chalk cellars quietly hold the champagne for years, allowing time, not speed, to shape its character. This New Year’s Eve for me was no summaries, no lists of did / didn’t. just gratitude and a bit of lightness thank you to the people who are close even if not physically but through voice notes messages memes that somehow say more than words thank you for the warmth for the gentleness for laughing at the same dumb jokes for late-night talks for the simple and powerful “I’m here” I wish you peace with yourself the kind that doesn’t require a yoga retreat and tenderness to yourself to others to life (without being too hard on it) may there be more softness more laughter and a little less overthinking 🤍
