Meet our CEO of Aquatic Futures Foundation, Kory Lamberts🌊 Kory is a passionate dive professional committed to helping people achieve their goals, by creating inclusive aquatic experiences. With a background in environmental studies with a focus on social justice. He merges science with real life application to promote more cohesive vision for marine scientists. As Chair of the Next Gen Committee for the National Association of Black Scuba Divers (NABS) and a proud member of Aqua Corps, Kory is an advocate for water safety in underrepresented communities. His leadership has been shown through spear heading (the now dissolved) USC Wrigley’s Scientific Dive Discovery program, certifying scientific divers, training NASA astronauts, and volunteering at the hyperbaric chamber Kory’s vision? 💡 Creating a space for the future generation! “I want to build a community that can explore how far we advance Marine Science by adding more voices to the conversation”

Our founder Kory shares the powerful story behind Aquatic Futures Foundation, tracing how centuries of systemic exclusion created a gap between Black communities and water spaces. This history directly shapes our mission today through swimming lessons, ocean education, and creating welcoming aquatic environments to train future scientific divers. This is the why behind everything we do. Huge thanks to @dencilrollejr for this incredible video! #AquaticFutures #OceanForAll #MarineScience #ScubaDiving #Inclusion

I back rolled into a slave ship & used a giant stride to board the Black Star Line! I Pray to become an elder in my lifetime… Expensed a new generation of divers on my own dime. Then met community who allowed their mission to become mine! A time with AI slop and genocide on Your mobile phone. It’s hard to tell which way to swim home. When you can’t discern what’s real, close your eyes & listen to the ancestors; a path has been laid out don’t rush for answers -Kory Lamberts May 12th 2026 Off the coast of Key West Fl, Henrietta Marie Slave Wreck Monument Thanks for the bts photos @jil_li__ @joel_r_johnson & thanks to everyone else who’s allowed their passion to overflow and fill those around them

I’ve officially been freediving 4 years now. Only spearfishing 2 years though. This summer the goal is to do some diving vlogs in Mexico/Hawaii/Florida. Appreciate everyone that’s been following the journey. Diving took over trying to be a pro boxer high key. And honestly it’s just as dangerous but less head trauma to worry about 🫡😑 here’s a oldie but a favorite of my first time ever going to Catalina Island with @koryin2deep of @aquaticfutures arium
