We are honored to share that Aya was recognized with a Silver ASID Award in the hospitality category last night!
Aya has quickly become a highly regarded addition to Milwaukee’s fine dining scene, centered around Mediterranean-inspired Middle Eastern cuisine. Our design reflects those influences throughout the space, creating an atmosphere that complements the culinary experience.
We are proud to have collaborated with owners Fatima and Hanish Kumar, along with Oxeland Group and New Land Enterprises, to bring this space to life.
In February, our team joined Rooted & Rising, a neighborhood nonprofit dedicated to community-driven revitalization in Washington Park, to work with residents and stakeholders to explore solutions for the Lisbon Ave. The central corridor, has experienced disinvestment in recent years, resulting in gaps in access to essential resources. Last night, we returned to share design visions for our proposal for a mixed-use, multifamily housing proposal that introduces much needed density while prioritizing attainable housing options. Grounded in community feedback, particularly the need for accessible, high quality food options, the project integrates a full service grocery store alongside a community center and neighborhood-serving retail.
