Since the past week, I’ve been having Fragrasms (Fragrasm Orgasm🤭) and it’s because I finally unboxed the Nebras Elixir by @lattafa_perfumes
One thing I’ve learned about Lattafa fragrances with flankers or collections is that the juice is not always the same, even when the name and design look alike. The Elixir feels very distinct from the OG Nebras, and it gives me joy knowing that.
It’s such an airy, soft and sweet gourmand vanilla perfume that reminds me of a very moist and creamy vanilla cake, covered in the fluffiest whipped cream.
Honestly, this smells like comfort in a bottle, and I think it’s most suitable to be worn in colder weather and cozy spaces. I have a strong feeling I won’t be putting this down anytime soon.

Recently, I added the Angham Second Song by @lattafa_perfumes to my collection, and when I tell you I haven’t been able to put it down???
As a girl who enjoys perfumes with white florals, it was no surprise that I would fall in love with the Second Song. It’s such a beautiful, soft, floral, feminine and beautiful perfume. It reminds me of how a soft woman, who’s basking in her femininity, should smell like.
Lately, l’ve been figuring out what it layers really well with this beautiful scent, and of course I had to share (we don’t do gatekeeping here, so you’re welcome!😌)

First Impression of the Sawaar Vanille Blanc by @khadlajperfumes
As someone who has been leaning into her Vanilla era lately, I would say that this was such an complex blind buy for me. I had assumed it would be a gourmand type of vanilla that reminded me of desserts and stuff but that’s not what this is.
Sawaar Vanille Blanc is such an interesting addition to my collection, with different personalities. In the opening, the powdered sugar scent is so pronounced, almost as if you’re inhaling icing sugar, and then shortly after, you begin to smell the vanilla spring up. It’s very soft, not overpowering or loud.
In its semi-dry down state, you get that musky/woody smell, almost as if the overall scent has metamorphosed into an entirely new smell. The woody scent is very pronounced but not loud, like attention seeking.
I actually love how soft and gender-neutral it is. It doesn’t lean too feminine or too masculine; sits right in the middle, effortlessly.
Blind buy? Hmm.. I’d say try to sniff it first if you can (or maybe get a tester), just because it might not be what you expect when you hear “vanilla.” Overall, I’d give her a 6.5/10

Beyond how a perfume smells on my skin, l’ve come to notice how much the weather influences its performance, how the perfume sits, projects or even lasts long.
Cooler days (Tor me, the rainy season) nave a way of bringing certain notes to life. They bloom even better, and on days like that, l don’t want light and airy vibe. I would prefer the scents that would project heavily, wrap around me, linger in the air, and feel almost like a warm pat on the back.

One thing I love about Arabian perfume houses is how audacious they are. Because how are you recreating a scent and getting it this right?!
A clear example is Prohibit Rouge by Fragrance World, which was inspired by the famous (if I say so myself 🤭) L’Interdit Rouge by Givenchy.
L’Interdit Rouge is easily one of my favourites. It’s spicy, sexy, loud, and bold. The kind of perfume you wear when you want to command attention. I occasionally wear because of the price😭, so imagine my excitement when a friend put me onto Prohibit Rouge. I was skeptical at first guess what? There’s literally no difference at all! If I didn’t know better, I’d genuinely think they were the same fragrance.
Now, I know I don’t have to break my savings to buy the designer when I can easily repurchase its alternative🥹🤪

Say hello to ✨Vanilla Voyage✨ by @maisonasrar_fragrances
On first sniff, I immediately got a creamy gourmand blend of butter, and caramel. The dry down revealed the vanilla, and it reminded me a bit of Éclaire by Lattafa, which makes sense since they share a similar DNA.
Pro tip: preserve it for the cold weather or wear somewhere cozy, and see the projection🤭
Ps: I think I’m officially in my vanilla era because the way I’ve been leaning towards it lately is puzzling🙂↕️😂
