My first road race of 2026, competing at the Semarapura Criterium and finishing in 5th place.
After a series of MTB races in the previous months, this marks a solid start on the road with many valuable lessons to refine.

My challenge at 40 has come to an end.
Cape Epic 2026.
I gave everything I had over these 8 days.
Honestly, there wasn’t a single easy day.
Together with my partner @riyadhhakim14
we overcame every adversity along the way.
Punctures, a broken wheel, crashes, and sickness.
There were many moments where we almost lost the flow.
But we never gave up, and kept pushing until the very end.
We finished 5th overall (Open Men),
and 35th overall including the pro category.
We also stepped on the podium three times.
There are still places we couldn’t reach.
But I have no regrets about these 8 days.

8日間、すべてを出し切りました。
正直、簡単なレースは1日もなかった。
パートナーのRiyadhとともに、
すべての逆境を乗り越えた8日間。
パンク、ホイール破損、落車、体調不良。
何度も流れを失いかけた。
それでも、最後まで諦めずに走り続けた。
結果は総合5位（Open Men）、
そしてプロカテゴリーを含めた総合35位。
ステージでは3度の表彰台。
まだ届かなかった場所もある。
でも、この8日間に後悔はない。
すべての関係者、支えてくれた皆さんへ。

Stage 7 - GRAND FINALE! Leaving it all out there.
That was EPIC!! Finishing with nothing left in the tank after 8 hard days of racing!

Stage 6 – Back on the podium.
Back in Stellenbosch! On a fast and flowing day, Team Titan FX made the most of the dry conditions and fun trails.
Kohei Yamamoto 🇯🇵 and Riyadh Hakim Lukman 🇸🇬 rode strong from the start, staying consistent and pushing the pace to secure 2nd place.
