“Maalstroom” has received Eurimages support! 🙏We’re very happy to share that our co-production “Maalstroom”, directed by Teddy Cherim and produced with Graniet Film, has been selected for Eurimages funding. The film follows Jan, a struggling inland shipping captain whose last hope is transporting a load of sand for a beach bar in Rotterdam. But shortly after departure, he discovers eleven East African refugees hidden in his cargo. As he rushes toward Rotterdam, his unexpected passengers force him to see life from a new perspective.
