This album is collaboration between both Køemner and Lysnings based on Dragster racing samples from the 60’s. Throughout the album, we explore various textures and loops while blending them with dubby atmospheres.

This project draws its raw energy from the legendary NHRA drag races of the 1960s. It’s an audacious blend of experimental and abstract ambient, where the cold pulse of dub techno meets drifting echoes of vintage commentators and the roar of hand-built, overpowered engines. A cinematic, mechanical tension runs throughout, hypnotic, atmospheric, and deeply immersive.

In homage to the 100 year-old animations of Walter Ruttmann, the audio-reactive output of a GAN trained by aigardening on "Lichtspiel Opus II" has been animated by music specially composed by køemner.

Ruttmann was an abstract experimental film pioneer whose works captured both rhythm and chaos, most famously in "Berlin: Symphony of a Great City". His blend of abstract art with documentary and animation techniques broke completely new ground and still has deep relevance today.

New music! Here’s a remix for Lark(@karl_bielik ) along with a short filmed edited by @luigi_bnlk17 . The remix will accompany many more as part of Lark’s latest Album release “Be Still” which was released earlier this year. A brilliant and well crafted album.
