We used @lumalabsai to process multicam captures of the entire team mid-action for the official arena intro. By combining NeRF technology with spatial VFX and sound, we were able to create an immersive and unique frozen time moment for NBA fans in the arena. Picked up a new Emmy for my VFX work on the ’24 Playoffs, joining the other 2 from the ’23 season when we created the first ever volumetric bullet-time NeRF in the NBA. Since then, the tools have evolved and changed so much. The fundamentals haven’t. Ideas, taste, and vision still lead. It’s an exciting moment to build differently.

Blended VHS nostalgia with a @lumalabsai 3DGS/NeRF scan of the arena stage from @realcoleworld & @champagnepapi ’s “Big as the What” 2024 tour. Animated, motion tracked, layered with particle sims and glitches, then processed through real analog CRT for authentic vintage pixel detail.
