•• Warning : Long Caption 🚫•• I had a fleeting thought the day I took these pictures. For the first time in a long time, I had a reflection of my journey so far. Over 13 years down the road (feels like a lifetime tbf) and it’s been a mixture of every feeling known to man. Every lol.
I remember when like a century ago I started out with taking meetings and doing measurements in KFCs and Chicken Republic spots all over Lagos with ankara/trad style magazines, by car parks and corners. Then we ‘graduated’ to malls, then moved on to ThePlace (there is no ThePlace restaurant up until 2021 I haven’t been to).
Got our first store/studio, moved again right after covid to the island. But before I could settle in, moved to London.
And we were back on the streets 💀. Measurements in tubes stations and coffee shops again.
Just like ThePlace, Pret all over London know me 🫠
Now we have moved again 😎, meetings in Mayfair, private clubs in Pall Mall, collaborative shoots with high end hotels 🤝.
Someday soon we will get our own store!! From my mouth to His ears 🙏🏽
