Still can’t believe it! From almost dying at Pipeline a year ago to winning the Backdoor Shootout yesterday, it’s a dream come true! Very proud of this wave, a lot of lead up and nerves coming to Tahiti. It’s been over a year since I’ve gone on a surf trip to some heavy waves because of my spine surgery, I can honestly say I’ve never felt better! 📷 @dmosqphoto
