Afgelopen weekend was Zwemcentrum De Welle weer het decor voor een prachtig Noord Nederlands Kampioenschap zwemmen.
Prachtige en spannende races maakten het een leuk en spectaculair kampioenschap.

First weekend of Provincials ๐โโ๏ธ
Not here to chase times โ just enjoying the races, having fun with my teammates, and taking a break from all the exam stress by doing what I love most. ๐โจ
After exams, itโs back to full focus โ training hard in and out of the water for Nationals and the AAU Junior Olympics in Iowa, USA. ๐ช๐๐บ๐ธ

Niet hier om snelle tijden te zwemmen โ gewoon genieten van de races, plezier maken met mijn teamgenoten en even ontsnappen aan alle examenstress door te doen wat ik het liefste doe. ๐โจ
Na de examens gaat de focus weer volledig terug โ hard trainen in รฉn buiten het water voor het NK en de AAU Junior Olympics in Iowa, USA. ๐ช๐๐บ๐ธ

Kirsten Cameron in Masters Hall of Fame
Zwemster Kirsten Cameron van team PSV Masters Zwemmen (onderdeel van vereniging PSV Zwemsporten) uit Eindhoven wordt 15 mei toegevoegd in de ISHOF Masters Hall of Fame, in de Class of 2026. De Nieuw-Zeelandse, die momenteel uitkomt in de categorie dames masters 50+, begon met wedstrijdzwemmen toen zij dertig was.
Vandaag de dag heeft Cameron 24 Wereld Masters Records op haar naam staan. Deze zwom zij onder meer op drie Wereld Masters Kampioenschappen in Stanford (2006), Perth (2008) en Gรถteborg (2010). Waar zij alle vrijeslagnummers zwom en tien gouden medailles won. Sinds 2020 is ze weer in open water gaan zwemmen en heeft ze zich de laatste tijd vooral gericht op langere afstanden.
