I’ve been hard at work ripping off teenage engineering. My take on the field desk for way less money. After some hitches determining what sort of hardware needed, and a few broken taps, I was able to assemble this beauty.
Gotta a new little lamp mark. Probably not the final, definitely not official. I just wanted to give this page a nice little hat, specifically so it looked nicer when I was switching accounts.

I hate looking back at the last render I posted now, which I think is the mark of progress in the form of this little thing. Constantly trying to balance letting the forms be driven by my sense of design and letting the tool I built to make these lamps be in control.
So this iteration is a marriage of both, I sat down and drew what I thought the ideal form would be then used this to inform the parameters in blender. Im sure I’ll look at this render with changes in time but for now I’m very happy with the progress. On sale soon!
