》Some mornings are just better than others. Especially the ones where you don't have to get up for work but instead you wake up anyways and venture out to appreciate the beauty and the calmness of a sunrise. ✨
⠀
Here are a few more shots that I captured in Brissie on a serene morning during my east coast road trip a last year. I'm grateful that I've had the opportunity to travel a fair bit in my life and I'm definitely not going to take traveling for granted ever again. I just hope that I can still do that in the future without any mandatory vaccines. How do you feel about his particular issue? Would you be willing to get vaccinated every single year so you could go overseas to visit friends or relatives, go on a business trip or on a holiday? Would love to hear your thoughts.⠀

》The only constant in Life is change. No need to fear it, embrace it instead because any progress in this world would be impossible otherwise. We have no control over how our story begins and little control over how it ends, but we have control over how we choose to live our story. Remember, just like nature is constantly evolving, so should we. We either make constant adjustments to our surroundings or we'll get caught slipping. So don't wait for change, be the change.
This is another pre-dawn cityscape captured a year ago from Bradley's Head in Sydney. Another morning well spent admiring the beauty of a sunrise.

》Blue hour bliss. 🏙️✨

During the time that I lived in Melbourne, this became one of my favorite spots to wind down at the end of a day. You can probably guess why.

》5:43 AM. ⠀
It was quiet, unusually quiet.. there was no wind, no passing cars, no people walking by.. the stillness was almost eerie. The only thing that I could only hear were a few birds chirping in the distance.. as I had woken up not too long ago and only slept for 4 hours, I was still a bit dazed so I let my imagination go for a second.. for a brief moment it felt like every person on the planet had somehow just vanished, you know, like I was in one of those post-apocalyptic movies. As the dream was really starting to sink in, I was brought back to reality by the approaching sirens in the distance that were getting increasingly louder by the second. All of a sudden, as it drove past me, I felt completely awake and aware.. it was an ambulance. Our frontline health workers that we rely on. When everyone else is sleeping, they are not. Their dedication, commitment, and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration. Thank you for your work!⠀

》The World as we knew it no longer exist. Although it might not seem that way to some yet, a lot will change. In some aspects of life more than others. It's important to remember that the choices that we make right now will determine what kind of World will emerge from this. Choose Love over Fear. ✌🏻

》Create your own calm. ⠀
In times like these, when people are expected to be constantly following the news for updates, it's easy to find yourself feeling anxious about everything. In a matter of fact, there have been studies done confirming that increased consumption of news media can lead to greater feelings of anxiety. Viewers watching the news more than usual, as is often the case in times of great change, were 1.6x more likely to report at least one anxiety symptom, ranging from uncontrolled fear to sleeping difficulties and physiological hyperarousal (essentially increased alertness and inability to rest). I have to admit, recently I've been suffering under the "Headline stress disorder" myself so I've decided to pull myself back from what I can't control and instead am focusing on what I can. I've also started practicing some of Wim Hof's breathing techniques again and have noticed the amazing effects it has had on me already. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who has been feeling anxious or who wants to boost their immune system. ⠀
Stay safe, stay strong, stay healthy!⠀
