Man!! I’m beyond grateful to still be here, still mentioned amongst the best, still creating at a high level, still very much in love with this thing we call music. I’m always inspired by my friends and peers! If it wasn’t for people like @termanologyst @rekshiphop @mdotboston @bigshuggangstarr and more I never would’ve felt like this was possible! I’ll never forget listening to 88.9 at night and hearing local legends played next to house hold names. Thank You! For People like @malcolmjgray for opening up their doors to us and allowing us to be a part of a long line of amazing acts who have come from New England. I miss going to #church #boston on Mondays for @authenticlifestyleboston Merren weekly showcases. This is where I first met people like @latrelljames @stizgrimey and saw amazing performers like @thedutchrebelle @aislingpeartree and more! These places were crucial to my development as a creative here in Ma. I don’t remember there ever really being any gate keeping because we were all trying to figure this thing out. Everyone asked each other questions and advice and for the most part there was always cross collaboration and guidance when needed. It was amazing to see places like #wonderbar allow a then underage @tokenhiphop perform along side his dad during what I believe was the #mindspray monthly event. (This came at a time where we were feeling a lot of push back from local venues since Token was underage at the time , but really all we wanted was a chance to be heard) We had to really fight for everything, not in a bad way, but in this game you really gotta earn it! Seeing acts I’ve known for years being recognized for their hard work and contributions is beautiful! Some of these people have been grinding for 10-20 years if you can really believe that! But the common denominator is everyone acknowledged on these lists never gave up! I’m beyond proud to be a part of this scene and proud of all the people who are also here every day trying to make the world a better place thru art and love!

Yall just don’t get it! I’ve known some of these guys for over ten years now!! @esteenack absolutely shook the room the first time I ever saw / met eachother at @wreckshop101 freedom cyphers . From that day I wouid always tell people he is the personification of hip hop! Nack has gone on to help so many people grow their art and become the best versions of themselves! @chairman_chow_ hosted one of the first radio shows in Ma that gave so many of us a chance to be heard next to others we looked up to! and always opened his doors to us to showcase our talents and promote our latest and greatest! Today he’s been killing it as a creative as well! Met @vdonsoundz through my dude @misterneechee got to be a fly on the wall a few times while he cooked up some heaters! Later reconnected at @steelsessions and more! @shaykh__hanif and I connect for the first time back in 2022 at Grindcon but wasn’t till 2024/2025 we really got a chance to chop it up! Dude is a real one! And a phenomenal song writer Seeing great people do things that they love and doing it at a high level makes my heart so happy!!!
