Know Morals is a hop hop artist, musician, and poet based out of both the San Jose and Santa Cruz areas. Who represent it heavily and defines himself as Jose Cruz or 40831. Know Morals has been off and on playing instruments in bands and writing song lyrics since he was in middle school; but started rapping about a decade ago. He is a musical chameleon who is mainly known as an underground conscious hip hop emcee; while frequently crosses genre boundaries into reggae, rock, psychedelic, etc. Most hip hop artists define themselves as entertainers; while Morals makes an effort to use his voice and events he is part of to uplift and unite and speak out as a messenger rather than just another entertainer.
