Iāve been studying colour theory lately, trying to understand combinations and I figured nature was a good place to start.
So I started with flowers, and one of the most captivating ones I found was the iris.
Irises have long been associated with communication and divine messages. They represent wisdom, courage, hope, and faith.
Isnāt wonderful how deliberate creation is? In nature, nothing feels random. Everything seems intentional. And if a flower can hold that kind of significance, then our existence canāt be random either.
So if you ever doubt yourself, look at nature. Nothing blooms by accident.
And neither do you.
I really wanted to close the year with an exhibition, and here we are.
Itās been a journey, and thereās no greater feeling than standing beside a work we shaped with such clear intention. Iām super proud of us @oyestudios_@okaforblesing š„°š„°

This artwork is more than a pieceā¦..itās a story of determination, teamwork, and countless reworks to get every detail right. From reshaping props to late-night tweaks, we refused to give in until it came together beautifully. š«

Color brings one kind of depth, black and white brings another.
We couldnāt choose which version carried more emotion because both felt striking in their own way -
so weāll let you decide. Which one speaks to you more?
SANCTUM - part 1
This series highlights the sacredness of the head as a vessel housing the primary gateways that shape our very being and how much we need to guard them. The eyes, ears, nose, and mouth are not merely features; they are portals to the soul and spirit.
Our eyes are windows through which light or darkness enters. Matthew 6:22 refers to them as the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. To gaze upon what is pure, holy, and true is to fill the soul with life. But to feast the eyes on corruption is to dim the spirit.
The ears are channels of influence. Faith comes by hearing, but so does doubt, fear, and rebellion. The voices we permit to enter, through conversation, music, media, leave fingerprints on our hearts. Even Eveās downfall began with listening to the serpentās words.
The mouth is a double gate, both entrance and exit (Proverbs 18:21). What we consume, food, drink, and even idle talk can defile us (Matthew 15:11). What crosses the threshold of the mouth whether words or what we consume, affects both the body and the spirit. Death and life are in the power of the tongue
The Nose, Life itself is sustained by breath. āThen the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living beingā.
A single compromised channel can taint the whole person.
This series calls for awareness. For intentionality. For guardianship.

Some say sheās a sign,
Others say sheās karma,
Sheās not a ghost,
Not a spirit either.
No one knows where she comes from,
or where she goes.
But every once in a while,
someone will whisper,
āDid you feel that breeze? Just now?ā
Then they fall quiet.
Because they knowā¦
