What an incredible weekend for Imagine Festival with @everyoneherecumberland
Over the past few months we have worked with almost 90 children in 3 primary schools in West Cumbria to produce an amazing dance film about love, togetherness, community and friendship. We then created a live performance with a selection of the young people to perform at Imagine Festival this weekend in #whitehaven
The young people were amazing and worked so hard giving all their energy to the performance. A huge thank you to all the parents, carers and festival goers who came out to celebrate their achievement!
What a weekend!

TKP have had an incredible few days working with @selfa_charity in Skipton on 2 brilliant films co-created with young people. Filmed by the fantastic @tomdoonamedia
The groups have been creating films all about what Skipton means to them as young people and what they think could be improved to make Skipton an even better place for young people to live.
These films will be shared with the Skipton Town Council to help them understand the thoughts and feelings of the brilliant young people at SELFA and help them shape future town investment plans.
It’s been an amazing few days and the sun even shone for us!!! ☀️☀️☀️HUGE well done to all the brilliant young people involved on and behind the camera! 🎥 👏

Last week Natalie presented the incredible @wiganboroughdance festival at the Edge Arena-produced by @spirix_collective
With over 1900 young people taking to the stage throughout the week and 1000 audience members each night it was a HUGE and epic event to be a part of!
Natalie also ran physical theatre workshops with some of the amazing young dancers. A true celebration of creativity, talent and bringing communities together.
Congratulations to everyone involved! 👏

We are so excited to announce that we have been funded for our brand new project ADAPT! 🔥Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. We are launching an ambitious theatre project that brings together early career artists and young people in Cumbria to co-create brand new theatre.
Over the Summer of 2026, emerging artists will work with young people in Copeland to co-create a brand-new production exploring the real stories of growing up in their communities. The show will then tour in Autumn to Barrow-in-Furness, where another group of young people will adapt the production with their own stories, in an ever- evolving touring model thats shifts with the people on stage. We will also be working with schools and community groups to develop creative responses to the work through film and performance.
This project empowers youth voice, develops local creative talent, and strengthens community arts across Cumbria. We can’t wait to see these stories brought to life on stage!
Early career artists and young company call outs will be going live soon- watch this space! 👀
We are extremely grateful to our partners who have helped support this ambitious new project.
