@audrey_biche is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer raised between Spain, China, France, and the Caribbean. An AFI Conservatory graduate and Fulbright/Georges Lurcy Scholar, she’s an ASC Heritage and László Kovács Award nominee and a two-time Panavision grant recipient, with work that has screened at AFI Fest, EnergaCamerimage, Palm Springs ShortFest, and Raindance.
She has now shot three Knockout Shorts projects and more than 20 vertical series. From the start, Audrey pushed us to treat verticals like real cinema, shooting on @arri cameras, building fast lighting workflows, and helping define the visual language across our shows. The contrasty, naturalistic, performance-driven look people associate with Knockout largely comes from her.
She consistently advocates for experienced crews and proper tools, investing in the team and the image so the format never feels disposable.
We’re lucky to have her on the team.
Introducing Knockout Shorts, a Los Angeles–based studio founded by Matthew Ko and Chris Crema, dedicated to elevating short-form storytelling for the global microdrama audience. With backgrounds spanning film, television, and high-end commercial production, the team combines strong creative oversight with efficient execution to deliver binge-worthy vertical series designed to travel beyond borders.
Knockout exists to bridge the gap between the speed of today’s microdrama ecosystem and the craft, discipline, and talent quality of premium storytelling, developing stories with the scale, ambition, and production value to resonate internationally.
