Join us on July 22 at #Oakenfest2023 as Kinematik make their return to where it all began in 2014. Experience the magic of their original line-up in a special reunion gig that will transport you through mesmerizing post-rock landscapes. 🌳🎶
Kinematik is a Lebanese post-rock ensemble formed in 2014. They gained recognition with their debut album "Ala'" in 2017 and subsequently performed in Lebanon and Europe. Despite the challenges of the Lebanese uprising and the COVID-19 pandemic, Kinematik persevered and expanded into a six-member ensemble. They performed at the Irtijal Festival in 2020, which led to the creation of their third album, "Al Jadi," featuring intricate compositions blending electronic and jazz elements. In addition to their music, Kinematik has toured extensively, re-scored films, and contributed to various soundtracks.

We shot this video few weeks after the Beirut explosion, the city was in ruin and so were we ( my hair is a live example) . Watching this video away from home makes me realise how much I miss and love playing with my oldest and closest friends @knmtklb and performing in Beirut.
Shout out to brotherman @joesaa brotherboy @mizyedazrai and @roudydoumit for this amazing video.
@tuneforkstudios ⚘
Cheers to all of you for your continuous support.
Peace to the souls of the victims and their families 🖤
When we were way more beaten up… kind of still are, some in other countries.
We filmed this in September 2020, at AHM, to archive destruction and emotions. I can’t recall how we were able to pull this off knowing where we were mentally at that time.
It seems now is the time to share this archive here, you can find the link to the full video in @knmtklb ‘s bio.
All thanks to brother @joesaa and @roudydoumit@mizyedazrai 🎥
Also, big thanks to all friends, families and people who have been listening to our music and supporting our work; you always planted in us seeds of hope ❤️
Tomorrow (19th march) we’ll be presenting our re-score of Fleming’s classic The Wizard of Oz with @sharjahart
This has been quite the compositional experience for us, purging all of the demons that come with classics, from their iconography to their abuses.
