Installing new FPGA tools can be a headache, but Whitney Knitter (@knitronics_lab ) is here to help! 😅 In case you missed it, last month she posted her massive, updated guide for installing the 2025.1 and 2025.2 versions of AMD Vivado, Vitis, and PetaLinux on Ubuntu 24.04. She details every single step and even includes workarounds for the unexpected snags she hit during the OS upgrade! 👉 Tap the link in our bio to check out Whitney's full profile on Hackster.io! #MakerCommunity #FPGA #Ubuntu #AMDFPGA #Engineering

Don’t miss the second video in my series on the AUBoard-15P, an Artix UltraScale FPGA development board. This video follows up by going over how to create a lightweight IP echo server application to run on the hardware design outlined in my previous video.

While I’m plotting what’s to come in 2026, have you seen this past project on using Digilent’s data acquisition hats for Raspberry Pi for monitoring the temperature of my camping battery while it’s charging in my car??

In case you missed it, I recently expanded on my remote benchtop testing setup series. However I traded my electronics bench for my car to keep tabs on the power system for my camping setup with some help from @digilentinc Raspberry Pi DAQ Hats.
