So for Animayham this past weekend, I decided to crunch the shotgun David uses at the end of the anime to justify busting out the cosplay again. Made me remember how much I love the character, so will be doing a heap more upgrades and will be bringing back David later.

Helped out my good buddy @_its.vulcan_ to finish up his Katana man for Goldnova and naturally had a bit of a shoot together. Raw helmet and arm blades were finished in one afternoon.

PIOUS DAWN UPDATE
Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for your patience during our absence of updates. Finally, we can confirm that Pious Dawn has finally achieved picture lock, which brings us so much closer to a final release. We still have some work to do on it, but rest assured we’re in full swing with our score and SFX/ VFX development alongside our partners. We’re hoping to confirm a release date soon, so until then, we’re planning on releasing some BTS videos on our YT and Instagram pages.

Anaconda!!
It's wild seeing how much promotion this film has had and now finally able to show a few things I go to do!
While at Formation, I helped put together the 3M segment to wrap around an actor's body, and got to be the test subject.
Made up some displays of the VFX reference Snake head, and then a fibreglass matte display of Boris the Boar.
Which I was also unfortunately his bather for the film as he would come back from set covered in mud lol

Full size Flood spore!! Was a lot of work putting these guys together, but had so much fun with this paintjob.
Outer skin was run in whatever latex I had laying around, and backfilled with some S-Foam 59.

I saw a few posts about a bone bouquet. So I found a 3D file pack online of some human bones and made my own. Happy Valentine's day 🫶 #bone #valentinesday #darkromance
Bomb Devil helmet and silicone neck piece! Love this design so much and love making these helmets. Features a magnetic plate at the front that's removable for vison, cracks in half for easy wearbility, and also magnetic fins for transport.

BEAST OF WAR:
My 2nd Shark film I've worked on, during mid 2024 while at @formation_effects Got to fabricate and rig up some fun stuff, including a gag where someone is bitten in half.
I made a full fibreglass shark from an existing mold, and cut and rigged it up to have some motion in the tail and some head movement too.
A charred and blown up human that was many layers of cotton and latex over a foam body.
And mannequins. Probably for a fully working week, I cut up 10 mannequins to add some joints to give some amount of movement as floating bodies in the sea..
