We’re incredibly proud to share a standout moment from 2024—providing graphic design services for the UC Capitals documentary, Go Big: The Story of the Canberra Capitals.
This documentary delves into the legacy of Australia’s most successful women’s basketball program as the team chases their first-ever three-peat amid a global pandemic.
We wanted the graphics to embody the documentary’s passion and match its intensity. Using bold, oversized typography, we highlighted key locations, names, scores, and titles—amplifying the film’s energy and storytelling.
I’ve been lucky to be creatively involved with the UC Caps since 2018, including leading their 2020 rebrand. When Executive Producers @dyl.simp and @lachlanrosslgr asked me to design the documentary graphics, I was thrilled. In 2024, Knight Studio was engaged as a graphic design partner with the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD) of the ACT Government to deliver design services for the Home Swimming Pool Safety Reforms for the ACT. Our work with the EPSDD involved the design of key corporate documents such as fact sheets, guidance material and illustrations for pool safety that would effectively demonstrate the changes in requirements for pool owners in the ACT.
