Join us tonight for live performances by Malikk and Tarrak at Råhuset / Scene: Qajaq — part of the festival grounds 🖤🔪
The festival grounds open at 16:00 with DJ Aviaja and DJ Malia setting the vibe outside with a selection of their own favorite tracks mixed with Greenlandic music 🎶

Join us for an inspiring talk with goldsmith Nadja Kreutzmann, moderated by Aviaja Larsen, at Scene: ULU (Forsamlingshuset).
Nadja will share insights into her work as a goldsmith, the meaning and history behind amulets, and how modern jewelry can also carry protective and symbolic power.
During the event, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and explore a selection of her jewelry pieces.

Meet our MC and afterparty host, Nora, from Nuuk.
Nora is always smiling, down-to-earth, and ready to create a great atmosphere. She loves bringing people together and getting the audience to vibe along with the energy in the room.
For her, it is all about community, good vibes, and creating space for the new energy and creativity emerging back home in Greenland.
DJ Liam Bio
Meet DJ Liam, originally from Ilulissat and now based in Nuuk.
With roots in music, film, live concerts, and DJing, Liam brings both experience and passion into everything he does. Through his work, he helps create life, atmosphere, and unforgettable moments in Nuuk and across the Greenlandic coast.
Behind the decks, DJ Liam delivers an energetic mix of house and afro beats, combined with creative effects that elevate the entire dancefloor experience.

Meet the crew! This is our graphic designer, Marie Amalie Høegh, 29 years old, daughter of a Danish mother and a Greenlandic father — a child of two cultures.
Marie is educated in Jewellery, Technology & Business, and her creative work is deeply inspired by her cultural background and Greenlandic visual traditions.
The inspiration behind the logo, besides representing the “K” in KNIFE, comes from the traditional Greenlandic Ulu. The cut-out star shape symbolizes a small “eye” into the culture.
The visual identity is inspired by Greenland’s raw and powerful nature, while the northern lights reflect the softer and more emotional values behind the project.

Aviana will be presenting Danskerangst, a personal and poetic exploration of Greenlandic identity, belonging, and alienation. The performance reflects on the contrast between Greenlandic ways of being and the social norms encountered in Denmark. Experiences of racism, cultural misunderstanding, and silence gradually create a sense of anxiety, invisibility, and disconnection from oneself.
Through intimate storytelling, political audio soundscapes, and traditional drum dance, the work becomes a powerful reclaiming of identity and the right to exist.
Bio
Aviana Steinbacher is a Greenlandic actress trained at the National Theatre of Greenland acting school. In 2023, she received a Reumert Award, after which she expanded her artistic practice into poetry and playwriting.
She both wrote and performed in the plays Marlukasiulluta / Det’Vito and Blå Sne. Alongside her theatre work, she also appears in the Danish youth series Salsa on DR.
Rooted in her Greenlandic identity, her artistic work explores political, cultural, and personal narratives through an intimate and poetic stage presence.
Meet the crew! This is our producer, Lea Hedeskov (they/them) from Denmark.
As a cultural producer, Lea is driven by creating spaces that are accessible and welcoming. They believe in the political potential of culture and the importance of building infrastructure that enables more people to connect through and within the arts.
