Today presented some unique challenges - Paris strikes and blockades, transportation delays, closures of many exhibitions at the Lourve, and rain. My feet are tired, the most “action” I saw was a seagull bullying some ducks and a crane in the Bois de Boulongne.
I got to spend the week in Charleston during an early June heat wave and spent my days ducking into alley’s, touring colonial and revolutionary era estates, meandering through grave yards and encountering ghost cats, but most importantly spending time with my sister (after her morning conference). I averaged about 7 miles walking every day and I am really beginning to believe that it’s the sedentary desk job and driving to the grocery store that makes you feel old in your 30’s. A big highlight was seeing @maggierogers and @thejapanesehouse under an almost full moon on the night of the summer solstice.
