Francesca Melotti is an Italian architect and artist based in Berlin. She unfolds her artistic practice as a journey between inner exploration and the perception of the external world. The canvas becomes a meditative space where reality is reshaped through personal abstract interpretation. Her work emerges intuitively, often guided by music that shapes the rhythm of her gestures and reveals fragments of the subconscious. She keeps her pieces open, allowing viewers to find their own visions. Website: www.francescamelotti.art Ig: @francescamelotti.art

Simone Ambu a.k.a. SAMBU STUDIO (Italy), is a self-thought multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. His artworks explore the components of human relationships and how personal and collective constructs shape society and environment, their paradox and how we are somehow all connected. His studies in anthropology have a significant influence on his work-research with a keen interest in the universality of myths and their interrelations. He works in Berlin in the social field and this has also a considerable impact on his art approach. With irony and pun he realizes his projects with different techniques, looking for the one that fits better the idea he wants to picture: embroidery, xylography, relief print, riso print or digital print. Sebastián (they/them) also known as INGRATO, is a Chilean textile artist and designer based in Berlin. Born in Santiago and raised in Valparaíso, Sebastián holds a bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a master’s in Textiles. Their practice explores identity, concealment, and transformation through handcrafted knitwear and deconstructed garments. Under the name INGRATO, Sebastián merges textile innovation with avant-garde fashion. Each piece — from sculptural sweaters to crochet balaclavas — is made from new and found materials, embracing glitches, memory, and intentional imperfections. Positioned between art, fashion, and archive, INGRATO’s layered silhouettes become wearable narratives, inviting transformation and self-expression. Mask-wearing, for Sebastián, is both protection and revelation, a symbolic gesture that challenges beauty standards and celebrates the multiplicity of the self. Ana Balcazar Bartra (b.1984, Lima) is a multidisciplinary Peruvian artist based in Berlin. Through large-scale paintings, performance, video and installation, her works explores new ways of representing plants and women and their relationship. Most often using her own image and life experiences, and inspired by the rainforest, landscapes and nature of her homeland and her travels. In 2022, Balcazar’s exhibition, Botanicals, at 1020 Collective, in Erie PA, was her most comprehensive to date and was followed by a series of invitations to show her work in the United States and Europe. Her first museum exhibition in 2023 “Entre Plantas y Mujeres” (Between Plants and Women) was a result from an invitation to be guest artists and curator of the Permanent Collection of the Erie Art Museum in PA. Further more, the same year in Peru, Balcazar won first prize in ICPNA Street Art and was a finalist in Premios Ayni. In 2024 she had her first solo show in Germany, “The ephemeral caress of the Plants” and was selected for the residency program Art Intensive Berlin, by All about Curating. Her work is in art collections including Hochschild (Lima), TD Bank (Miami) and Erie Art Museum Permanent Collection (Pennsylvania). Get to know more of her work at @anabalcazarbartra

Sofía Dumay, known artistically as Sofia Sofiez, develops her painting practice at KM Studio, working primarily with oil on canvas. Her work focuses on the visual translation of digital humor, exploring how memes and viral phenomena become emotional reflections of contemporary life. Through small formats and an aesthetic that merges the intimate with the popular, Sofiez addresses themes of identity, migration, and belonging, grounded in everyday experience and the language of the internet. Her work stems from a constant question about what makes us feel part of a place —or a joke— when we are far from home. In her paintings, the absurd and the affective intertwine, revealing that even at a distance, laughing at the same things can be a way of still belonging. Maria Koch (1988, former GDR) is an artist based in Berlin whose work unfolds between memory, transformation, and the search for belonging. Growing up in post-reunification Germany, she translates personal and collective experiences of change into poetic visual worlds shaped by painting, installation, performance, and video. Her works speak softly yet with deep resonance – of alienation and renewal, fragility and strength, and the quiet spaces in between where transformation begins.
