Keiko grew up in Japan and brought her love of craft across the world — through Maryland, Virginia, and now California. A former florist with a lifelong passion for crochet and sewing, she creates pouches, tote bags, and accessories using mostly Japanese fabrics, including authentic kimono fabric. Traditional and cute, all at once. Every piece is a little window into the culture she carries with her.
As a Japanese woman-owned business, she joined AKASSA because she believes in spaces that support AAPI women makers. She’s here to share her culture through everything she makes. We’re honored to have her.
