There’s something I’ve always loved about upholstery especially the way a single piece can completely shift the feeling of a room. It’s an opportunity to introduce pattern, depth and personality in a way that feels both considered and expressive.
My designs are hugely inspired by antique textiles, historical references, and the beautifully imperfect nature of traditional block printing; all layered with rich, bold colours.
In these pieces, you can see how each design tells its own story:
- Jangalee in Deep Dyed Blue - I love how this creates a bold, tonal statement on a headboard
- Evelyn Stripe in Lawn — a softer, cabana-style stripe that brings a sense of ease to a classic chair
- Navy Pow and Dhaaree Stripe in Berries — full of rhythm and contrast, perfect for enveloping a bed and curtains
- Jangalee in Black — grounding and yet with a great twist of fun; something I return to again and again
- The Edwardian in Ochre — warm and nostalgic, reworking a traditional shape with depth of colour
- Iford Floral in Sienna Pink — gentle, layered and decorative, adding softness to this space
For me, upholstering a piece, whether it’s something new or something once loved, is about creating character and longevity. It’s a way of giving furniture a new life, turning it into something entirely personal and ultimately, a future piece to be enjoyed for years to come!

It’s all about layering, adding textures that invite touch, colours that spark joy, and letting my imagination lead. I love pairing soft linens, mixing delicate ceramics with bold coloured glassware and adding fresh flowers and fruit.
Play with height using candlesticks, mix patterns without overthinking, and blend old pieces with new because the table should tell a story. It’s never just about setting the table, it’s about creating a space people want to linger in over a leisurely long weekend get together. How do you style yours?

I design painterly, characterful patterns intended to bring depth, narrative and a sense of play to interiors, all created to endure rather than follow trends.
Many of our fabrics are hand printed and produced by our wonderful team in India and our wallpapers are printed in the US & UK both following as many sustainable aspects as possible.
