"Just How it Started"
On April 20th, I will have my final concert at the Prague Conservatory after 6 years. Here I'm posting a song I wrote and performed last year.
Two years ago, my classmates and I were unhappy about the fact that pop composers don't have school concerts at the Prague conservatory. So after a couple of months, my friends Mája, Andrej and I decided to organize one. We hung around the school asking random kids that had instruments whether they would like to join our orchestra. I was skeptical at first, I would be happy just with a band concert but the others were set on getting the full orchestra. And so we did.
This will be the third year of these orchestra concerts and we are so proud that we could make a change at the school and create an opportunity for the students (and the audience) to actually hear what they wrote, outside of their computer. And we hope that the concerts will continue after we've graduated.
This year, in addition to the performances of the younger students, we will perform a musical short we wrote together with @kvietah and @alex.matejicek based on Sally Rooney's book, Intermezzo.
We're all very excited and we invite you all to come see it.

This is the cover art for our next single, Sentimental Tune that comes out in two weeks. We've been performing this song for a couple of years now and many of you know it already. It's a song about friendship and special encounters. Like when you meet an old friend on a tram on your way home. We can't wait to share the recording with you.
We recorded this song with our producer and drummer, Max Bistřický, Patrik Mahon, and our long-time bandmate Alex Matějíček, who plays two instruments on the track. You can guess what they'll be.
