Do any of my friends here in Big Sur have a copy of my book that I can borrow to show at the Coastal Commission meeting tomorrow evening (Thursday)? My author copies have not yet arrived and I want to make folks aware of the evidence that the Monterey cypress may not be a “non-native” species here in Big Sur. Currently Big Sur residents are discouraged from planting and are ENCOURAGED TO REMOVE the “non-native” Monterey cypress trees.
