One month ago, we did the unthinkable. We put on the first music festival in the HISTORY of St. James Parish and my beloved hometown of Vacherie, La. I call it “K.Levy’s Legends Music Festival”, also known as “Legends Fest”. It’s never been done here before. I faced a lot of doubt, lot of hardships, a lot of enemies, a lot of naysayers, and a lot of disadvantages… but who cares?
We did it anyway. With a small team, minimal funding, no experience, and limited time. Not only did we do it, but we did it with EXCELLENCE! I still can’t wrap my mind around the entire experience. The fact that this started as a thought in my mind, a vision in my heart, and it became a full blown music festival in my hometown… ON MY BIRTHDAY! God is truly amazing!

This decision is always extremely difficult, but we believe it is the right one for the safety of our community and the overall festival experience.
To every artist, vendor, volunteer, sponsor, supporter, and attendee, thank you for believing in what we’re building. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support more than words can express. The weather conditions could change and be perfect on Saturday, but with so many moving parts, a decision had to be made today.
We are already actively working on a new date and additional updates will be announced soon.

Introducing one of the newest inductees into the K.Levy’s Legends Music Festival Foundation Hall of Fame… Mr. Hamilton Steib Sr.
Some people make noise. Others make impact.
Hamilton Steib Sr. was a man whose presence could be felt throughout the community for generations. A fearless leader, trusted voice, provider, mentor, and servant to the people, he consistently stepped into spaces where leadership was needed. It was never for attention, but because he genuinely cared about people.
Whether it was helping organize efforts throughout the community, supporting families, cooking for gatherings, or simply showing up whenever someone needed him, Hamilton Steib Sr. represented what true community leadership looks like. His kindness, humility, strength, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on countless lives throughout Vacherie and beyond.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend whose love for family and community was evident in everything he did. Those who knew him knew they could count on him.
K.Levy’s Legends Festival is proud to honor Hamilton Steib Sr. for the legacy he leaves behind and the example he set for others through a life of service, leadership, and love for his community.

K.Levy’s Legends Festival is an INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL that will evolve into a multi day event, pouring practical resources into attendees from all over the world. I’ll leave it there for now.
