WINTER HOURS
As winter fast approaches, things begin to slow down a little and with the changing season, our trading hours will be adjusted.
As from the 4th May 2026 our tasting room and restaurant hours will be:
🍷Monday: Closed
🍷Tuesday to Sunday: Wine tasting and lunch from 10h00 to 17h00
🍷Wednesday: Dinner from 18h00 – 21h00 (Date night Experience).
We’ll be taking a short break from our Friday Sundowner evenings, but we’ll be back soon with a cosy new winter series. Our summer canapé and wine pairing has also wrapped up for the season and will return towards the end of the year.

ROUGE BURGER
One of our most popular dishes in our restaurant is the Alto Rouge burger best enjoyed alongside a glass of the iconic Rouge.
Our burger is packed with flavour and features a succulent 200g homemade beef patty, topped with tomato chili jam, mustard mayo, mozzarella, dill cucumber and a fresh rocket served with hand-cut fries and crispy battered onion rings.

MEET THE TEAM
Siseko, fondly known as “SK” is one of our newest team members and joined the Klein Alto family as our Barista about 6 months ago.
SK is the quiet craftmanship transforming each cup into something memorable. Originally from the Eastern Cape, he brings with him over 15 years of experience, much of it self-taught, shaped by curiosity and a deep appreciation for the art of coffee. From the perfect milk texture to the choice of cup, SK understands that every detail matters.
He has a deep appreciation for Alto’s heritage and his favourite wine is the Alto Rouge. Always ready with a warm smile and willingness to lend a hand, SK brings an uplifting energy to our team that does not go unnoticed.
Fun fact: When he’s not crafting coffee, SK is a qualified welder and enjoys working with his hands in his spare time.
