I am incredibly excited to bring this series to an exhibition as soon as possible. I kept this series practically closed as a self-portrait series for a very long time. I think it’s time to open it up and at the same time connect it to my overarching theme, the portraits. And now I’ve expanded the project even further and had a couple in front of my lens for the first time. As a rule, these are long exposure shots with exposure times varying between 2 and 30 seconds. In this case 6 seconds. They are series that deal with a range of human feelings and thoughts. @klein.cha.ost Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern welche Veranstaltung es genau war, als ich Lotte in der @saline.34 zum ersten Mal begegnet bin. Inzwischen passiert es gelegentlich, weil ich nun schon seit geraumer Zeit selbst Teil dieses soziokulturellen Hauses bin. Und so hab ich mich sehr gefreut, dass sie sich auch dem Projekt anschloss. Und außerdem hoffe ich, sie auch bald als Teil meines „Short Films“-Projektes vorstellen zu dürfen. : ) Und heute hab ich es nun endlich geschafft, meine Website auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen und fast alle Porträts hochzuladen. Das bedeutet: Auf nkewitz.com könnt ihr alle bereits entstandenen Porträts anschauen, die nach und nach auch ihren Weg hierher finden werden. Die Ausstellung im @nerlyerfurt könnt ihr euch von Montag bis Samstag jeweils ab 17:00 Uhr anschauen. Spenden sind herzlich willkommen, da dieses Projekt ziemlich herausfordernd ist. Let´s draw. 🌱 During Refugee Week Croatia - Podum 2025, artists Vladan and Rena are having Performative Drawing Workshop exploring the relationship between sound, drawing, and collective experience. People are invited to listen to sounds and translate them into visual records, regardless of prior drawing experience. A second group will engage with the landscapes of Gacko Polje in the context of local ecological issues.   🍀 The workshop runs from August 4–5 (in two sessions: 10:30 AM–1:00 PM and 3:00–6:00 PM) and precedes the broader festival program taking place from August 7–9 in Podum and the old school, surrounded by the karst landscapes of Lika. In addition to this workshop, the three-day program will feature film screenings, concerts, discussions, and communal dinners with numerous guests from around the world and the region.  💚 The results will be presented in an exhibition opening on August 7 at 4:00 PM as documentation of the creative process, closing on August 9.
