Visual artist Tiffany Titshall and textile artist Jayne Newgreen are not only good friends, but they are part of the collaboration cohort for Ballarat Craft and Design Week 2026.
Tiff and Jayne are working to create an installation that explores themes of memory, place, and sustainability. Their collaborative works involve working with light and being inspired by being in nature under the light of the moon. Anticipate an installation where you can join them walking in darkness, but you’re never lost.
Tiff and Jayne call their work 'Cucoloris' - a light modifier for casting shadows or silhouettes to produce patterned illumination.
Come join the exploration of the Mining Exchange (1-10 May 2026). Open two weekends for a discovery of the senses. Five different collaborations, five different outcomes. Free event.

Spent the day in Colburg North capturing content for Ballarat Craft & Design Week with Nick and Spencer — and wow 🔥
Watching molten glass transform through heat, movement and pure skill is something else. The focus, the timing, the teamwork… pretty incredible to witness up close.
So much respect for the craftsmanship behind every piece. Can’t wait to share more from this one.
