About two years I started this piece and about a year since our last session. Feels good to see how I’ve progressed with my technique as well as my understanding of color theory on skin. The Macaw is the national bird of Honduras, where my client Leilani is from. She wanted something to represent and the bird was such a good choice. We have just a few more hours to finish up this tattoo. Background splash and to tighten up a few things on the top half. Work in progress.
