Aden and I give this woman a lot of shit but if it wasn’t for that day visiting that beauty college, I don’t know how my life would have turned out. Heather is unlike any other woman I’ve ever encountered. She’s the most loving, caring, fun, unselfish person that I know and she married an ugly SOB. Oh and she’s not one of those girls that needs a post once a week to make her feel special but it’s her birthday so I’m making an exception. I’m so thankful for the way her eyesight formed when she was a child because if she had normal vision, I wouldn’t have been so lucky. I meet so many other men who have to be something they’re not in front of their wives. They have to act like two different people just so their wives do not go ape shit on them. Not me! I can be the same idiot everyday. Take away everything else in my life but I would never trade Heather Keefer for anything. Happy Birthday, Slazzy. Thank you for being ugly blind.

Very rare do you see someone in our industry last 40 years! Well, this man right here, Tom Moen has been an integral part of KTM North America for that long. Tom was our media contact at KTM when I was at Dirt Rider Magazine back in the early 2000s. Anytime we had a KTM test or shootout, I always was nervous as shit to walk up to the van to talk to him. A man of few words back then and a KTM that wasn’t great probably was some of the problem, but as the years wore on, the KTM got A LOT better and Tom and I began to have more conversations about other things besides moto. I even made Moen laugh one day and I’ll never forget that because I never seen the man smile until that day. What’s crazy is usually as we get older we get grumpier but Moen seemed to get happier as the years rolled on. 😂 A man that did it all at KTM! From racing off road, building suspension for Fisher, creating a “works” bike for Smail, taking care of us moto media idiots, marketing, hell he was out promoting KTM when nobody else was! When you think of KTM you thought of Tom Moen. 40 years! Holy shit! 40 years! I will always admire a man who created a life for himself (as well as his family) from dirt bikes. He loves dirt bikes. I get that! That hits home for me. Congrats on 40 years at KTM Moen (even though he won’t see this) and here’s to a great retirement. They don’t make them like you anymore. Thanks for scaring the shit out of me back then and for being one of the few who say it how it is in our industry. KTM will not be the same without you. 🍻

Birmingham was a step in the right direction for @aden_keefer47 . SX is not easy and for only riding SX literally three months, Aden has made huge strides thanks to @broctickle . Having the family fly back to California after Daytona while I had testing in Georgia the past couple weeks wasn’t ideal but @mrskeefer165 had the little shit taken care of while I was away. She took time off work (rescheduled her clients and worked over the weekend) each week to be there at the track for Aden so she’s the MVP of the weekend. The day didn’t start off well but it looks like Aden is more of a racer than a qualifier type so we need to work on that but to see some of his segment times in the main tells us there is some speed in there. A top ten is where he wanted to set his goal and he did that in Alabama. A great start from all the way OUTSIDE, thanks to @twisteddevelopmentracing and @procircuit78 is always helpful too! 🔥Just need to work on the rhythm after the start. 😂🤔 Thanks to @anchortapeco @coriebarbee for filling in for @eddie_laret_ and always helping Aden and myself. Not bad for only riding SX a total of about 9-10 times. We got a late start (some of it was dad’s fault) but to pick up what @aden_keefer47 has picked up in a short amount of time makes me a very proud father. A lot of emotions for mom and I this weekend but loved doing Daytona as a family. Our goal was top ten and we almost achieved that but some clutch issues and arm pump set us back. However I have learned to embrace “failing” because all it does is piss you off and make you hungry. From where we started in free practice, it actually went decent! 😂 Thanks @eddie_laret_ for taking care of my son and thanks to all the people that help our small program. Even though I’m involved in the industry it is STILL a very expensive sport and we appreciate the people that believe in Aden. Because we do! This thing! 😳 The 2026 @twisteddevelopmentracing @kawasakiusa KX450 has some juice. Jamie spent a lot of his own time/money on this build just because he wanted to “figure some shit out” so I jumped into help. We did a complete breakdown of the bike for a future @racerxonline Garage Build as well as broke it even further down with dual injector settings, timing, data logging and all the extra sauce for the @keeferinctesting YouTube channel that will be up soon. Always fun getting to try new shit with people that are motivated to try new shit. 📸 @cudby
