Mastered the coursework 🎓, committed to the cause 🌎🤍
In 2021, I was removed from the BSW social work program at my previous alma mater due to a lack of support within the program. I advocated for myself by appealing the decision, but nothing changed. Eventually, I graduated with my B.S. in Sociology and honestly thought maybe that chapter of my life was over.
But God showed me that failure is only a momentary experience necessary for growth. After countless nights of doubting myself, I decided to get back up and enroll in the MSW Program at Morgan State University.
I worked a full-time job and a part-time job just to keep myself afloat. I can’t even count the number of times trials and tribulations tried to take me out… but God ❤️ He continued to lead the way.
To my supportive family and friends who continued pouring into me while I worked to become a better version of myself
I love you forever!
Less than 24 hours from now, I’ll be crossing the stage knowing I bet on myself and won. I have grown so much throughout this journey, stepping deeper into my purpose and calling from the Lord. I’m beyond grateful to reach this point and join the 9%.

I had one graduation shoot on Howard’s campus which lead to another graduation shoot being booked for a few hours after. As a Howard Alum, it always feels so nostalgic to be back on campus.
