✨ I’m usually pretty quiet on here, and I have been taking big breaks from social media for my mental health. Life has been showing me that I can change for the better, with consistent and compassionate work on myself. I hope this summer has been treating you all well. ✨
Life has been strange lately. Challenging my thought processes, and trying to let go of other people’s projections and expectations. Trying to remember that my life is mine, no matter what. I don’t have to follow any path but my own, and it can always evolve into something new. Trying to continue to learn and absorb as much as I can without getting nihilistic. Trying to practice gratitude, and enjoy the silent moments. Reminding myself nothing is forever, and we are stronger than we know.
.
✨Wishing everyone health, both physical and emotional. ✨

I could have lived inside this beautiful day forever. Springtime in Nashville is really something.

Over the past few months it has felt like being humane in this country was a rarity. We weren’t seeing it from our elected officials. We weren’t seeing it across the nation.
.
We are divided, and it hurts. It hurts to know how many people will chose hate over love; chose to believe in false prophets over facts; and who wish to control the rights of others. There is this constant dichotomy of “Us vs. Them” always trying to categorize the unknown into the enemy.
Why are we continuing the same rhetoric?
.
We all have a choice in how we treat each other. Choose love. Choose compassion. Choose self-education. Choose science. Choose humanity.

I feel like there is finally a light at the end of this dark tunnel we have been in since 2016. Words can’t describe how much lighter I feel. I have hope again. 💙
Warm autumn days filled with all the kitties. Wouldn’t trade these days for anything. Hanging with my best friend ❤️

This is 30. Glad to be here. Open to new things. Grateful for what life has taught me. Ready to learn more. I have been looking forward to being in my thirties for a while. I know good things are in store, and I cannot wait to greet them.
