What started as small park meetups with flow artists, folding chairs, speakers, and friends has grown into one of Atlanta’s most unique open-air dance communities.
Before Beats On The Block became what it is today,
@atlantaedm and
@connect__atlanta were independently building spaces for people to gather, dance, flow, connect, and simply exist together through music and community.
On June 8, 2024, those worlds came together for the very first Beats On The Beltline.
Now, nearly two years later, we’re entering a brand new chapter as Beats On The Block.
We put together a full editorial feature and photo gallery telling the story of how it all started, alongside photos recapping from Season 3 Episode 1 on April 25, 2026 at Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark.
Thank you to everyone who has danced with us, flowed with us, volunteered, vended, played music, supported, and helped this community grow into what it is today. ❤️
