Mx Burlesque WA 2024!!! This shot is one of my favourites!!! (Although please be prepared now for me so say that about all of these images, you darn talented creature @chayla.photographer !) I’m so proud to have achieved the title of Mx Burlesque WA this year! When I first took out the title in 2011, there wasn’t a photoshoot included. I love that this in now part of it every year - both as a memory for future Kitty, and to showcase the talent that has come through Mx Burlesque WA over the years! I’m so happy to see how the competition has evolved, and so glad to have evolved with it ❤️ Every year I created my new favourite act, made new connections, pushed myself and had new opportunities come from being part of it. Thank you to @adoraderriere and @mxburlesqueaustralia for creating this platform for the community. Already I CANNOT WAIT for the shows in 2025!!!!!

I felt a little funny about sharing this one - originally I wanted this picture just for myself and wasn’t going to share it. I started out wanting to recreate my own version of “dude on a dating app holding a fish” but I’m glad it ended up like this thanks to the magic of @chayla.photographer ✨💖 At heart I’m a shy person, but I made a promise to myself back in the day to keep putting myself out there, and trying for the next opportunity (both onstage and off) Whatever happens I’ve always learnt something and had some truly awesome things come my way, made new connections and set new goals from each experience ❤️ And in the spirit of putting myself out there, you best believe I’m looking forward to the challenge! Lilah has been paired up with Mx Burlesque 2025 Masters finalist @kitty_litteur as their mentor! The Mentorship Scholarship Programme partners 2025 Mx Burlesque Masters finalists with selected state competitor mentees. Finalists must apply for the mentorship in their state final application. Successful scholarship recipients are paired with a mentor whose expertise aligns with the areas where the mentee seeks the most support, as determined by the national production team, ahead of their state final. My heart is full, and I am humbled, honoured, and genuinely touched that you thought of me — even briefly, even accidentally, even while scrolling on the toilet. It all counts. I’m so thrilled to share that I’ve been voted #12 on the 21st Century Burlesque Australian Sub List. I’m genuinely humbled to know I was on your minds this year. To be recognised alongside so many artists I admire is a huge honour 💖 Burlesque is a team sport disguised as a solo act, and I’m endlessly grateful for the community that lifts me, inspires me, and occasionally helps me zip up things I definitely cannot zip alone...
